101 Things

I am officially starting a 101 in 1001 days list. You can find more info on this challenge at http://www.dayzeroproject.com/.

As you have seen I have many things that are on my "mental list" to do but I think taking it a step further - writing it down and putting a time table on it, will give me that extra push I need to do these things that I've always wanted to do. I'm still working on my complete list and will post it as soon as it's finished. It's hard to come up with 101 things! I want to give myself plenty of time because I know there will be those things that pop in my head that I only think about now and then like working for the CIA... you know... little stuff :)

One of the things on my list will be from my last post about making more handmade stuff. I have to share another blog that I just adore homemade by jill. She has her favorite projects listed on the side bar and they are so great! Perfect for baby shower gifts or things for your own little one. She always has such great and simple ideas and she's a new mom herself of a cute little boy.

On a side note. Please be praying for God's direction in our family this year. We have a lot to accomplish and some great opportunities that may be heading our way. But we need the wisdom and discernment that goes along with all that.

Love and Blessings!

I don't get it. You post your "to do" for all to see? What if some of the "to do"s are personal? Do you post those? If not, then it's not a complete "to do" list. Like learning to do natural family planning using the most accurate vaginal temp using a "Lady Comp", and being consistent at it. Do I really want all to know that? You know, little stuff.
Maybe I should check out the link and I'll understand...

Well yeah. I would post something like... "Have more sex." It's not like everyone doesn't have sex or go through the same things. I don't think I'm going to have anything super personal on there. Mostly goals... things you want accomplish in the next 1001 days. Like "plant a garden and have it live through the season." They do have to be specific though. For the family planning thing I might just say "Do natural family planning and be consistent for six months." That doesn't sound too personal... right?

Speaking of "Have more sex" there's a link on Welcome To My Brain that IS quite interesting... I'll tell you about it some time, if you haven't already discovered it =)
That sounds like a lot of goals to accomplish. I wanna see your list and I'll just copy it.

Garren and Lanie introduced me to blog. It is a great way to know people better. Now I know you love dancing and coffee. Also two of my favor
ite things. I would love having coffee with you again sometime. If you don't mind hanging out with a Grandma.
And congratulations on your up coming child. I didn't know that either until I read your blog.
